Art has been an important part of Bev's life since earliest childhood. It was while studying Graphic Art and Design at UCFV in Abbotsford BC that she discovered her deepest interests lie in the fine arts where she studied painting and sculpture under world renowned artists Mirco Jakowba and JohnWeaver (painting and sculpture respectively).
Under the tutelage of internationally known artist Ron Hedrick, Bev's paintings really started to take shape and she added to her understanding with an intense workshop with well know artists Michael Albrechtson and Michael Bingham from the Paint Utah School.
Bev's interest in art has always been varied and her influences have been the Old Masters to John Singer Sargent, Salvador Dali, and Norman Rockwell and beyond. Bev loves the effects of light and the beautiful variations of color at play in the world around us.
