Born in Métis-sur-mer (Les Boules), Quebec.

Expressing a strong passion for history and archeology, her work and research are almost exclusively based on Man, his history, the traces he left behind, his myths, his tragedy, his beliefs, his cults.
In the artist’s series of paintings, an important part is often attributed to matter: collages, sand, mixed-media, giving to the final work an appearance of artefact or testimony of another era. Her artwork also shows the destiny of man all along his epic journey, destiny so closely linked almost becoming one with the horse, this mythical animal par excellence, in his long series of glories and defeats.
To talk about Man is also to talk about his creative genius and it is probably Music that embodies the most sublime form revealing the part of the sacred hidden in the depths of each human being.
In Dubé’s paintings, at the limit of abstraction, by the vibrant colors, the energy, the intensity, the gestural, the movement, the artist in turn creates works that reveal those same colors, same sonority, same intensity, same scale as the symphonic works experienced at first.
