In my impressionist works I attempt to draw my viewer's attention to the beauty of nature & one's surroundings, the effects of light & shadow, the play of color reflected in rippling water, the exuberance of color & the harmony of Mediterranean architecture with nature. It is the richness & fullness of life & nature that I wish to exalt; I invite my viewer to see with my eyes the beauty ofa simple blade of grass, to dream amidst the clouds of a Mazatlan sunset, to discover the world, the people, the lives, the history behind each abandoned window, doorway, archway, round the distant corner of a cobblestone "callejuela". Color is music to my eyes & soul.
