RECENT UPDATES...

2012-02-14: New works in by Janice McLean and Mark Pytlos this week. Also, RendezVous will be hosting a showlette and artist demonstration by Ron Hedrick at the Four Seasons Hotel. The demo will run 10am-4pm on Feb 18th and 19th. The works will remain on display until Feb 24th. Stop by to see how he creates such magnificent works, it's quite a sight to see.

2011-11-21: The opening night of the Small Gems Exhibition was a great success. We had a full house for the full evening, which included the artists: Gadenne, Hedrick, Paquette, Jones, Armstrong, Thompson and many more. It was a high energy evening with plenty of pleasant conversation and excitement. Many attendees were asking about the wine we served, it is from Silver Sage Winery in the Okanagan.

2011-11-17: Save the date. November 17th is the night of our grand opening and small works show.

2011-11-11: In the last week we've received many, many new pieces for the show. It will be the first time we'll be showing works by Tiffany Hastie. If you've never seen her works before, you will be blown away by her skill and talent with Miniatures. We've also received new works by Craig Yeats, Paul Paquette, Berge Missakian, Amanda Jones, Dale Dumas and Angela Au Hemphill. Make sure to attend the opening of the Small Gems Exhibition on November 17th from 5:30-9:30 to see these new works for the first time.

2011-10-11: The flood gates are open! New works have arrived by Ingrid Christensen, Maya Eventov, Irena Koulikov and Joro Petkov.

2011-10-08: We've received some new works by Linda Bishop, as well as some fantastic new works by Ron Hedrick that will be unveiled at our Small Works Show on November 17.

2011-10-06: We’ve added a new artist to the Rendezvous Art Gallery, Perry Haddock. Born and raised, in BC, he has a real ability to capture the local landscapes and daily scenes. With strong and vivid colours paired with the loose brushwork, his paintings grab the eye. Perry paints much of his work “plein air”, which really helps to capture the essence of the space around him. Next time you’re in ask to see his work, we always have some on display, but we’re often hiding some gems in our inventory room as well.

2011-10-01: Min Ma has brought us some wonderful new pieces for the Rendezvous collection.  With Ma’s strong sense of design and sensitive understanding of colour his pieces will instantly evoke emotion.  The beautiful new piece, Autumn Landscape, really begs to be seen in person.   

2011-09-24: We're proud to introduce Laurie Koss as our newest artist at Rendez-Vous Art Gallery. Laurie's work is noted for its soft and sensual neutrals which are balanced with a strong sense of composition and design. It can be framed minimally for a modern look or traditionally to mesh with a more classic decore.

2011-09-12: The doors are quietly re-opened at the new Rendez-Vous Art Gallery!

2011-09-01: Hedrick Fine Art Inc. takes over the gallery space and closes the doors for renovations.

2011-08-29: The last day of business for Rendez-Vous Art Gallery Ltd. Our best wishes to Guy, Ingrid, and Sharon, and congratulations to them for their many successes over the years.
